5-24-19 Dear Parents: Wow, what a year! To better state that- what a GREAT year! We have covered a lot of material and participated in many fun and exciting projects. We made many new friends along the way too. Each of your children has brought such joy and happiness to our classroom. I was so fortunate to have such a wonderful group of children this past year. They all have touched my life this school year in very positive and rewarding ways. I hope as the years go by that they keep in touch. Today’s technology can help us continue the relationships we have built. I encourage and welcome correspondences from you and your children. It has been my pleasure getting to know not only your child, but you as well. Having parental support and open lines of communication is an essential part of any successful school year. Thank you for all you have done to make our year so fulfilling and memorable. Again, thank you for a wonderful year and all of the gifts and very kind notes. Have a fantastic summer and see you, hopefully, in the future! Sincerely, and blessings to you and your families, Mr. Bullard 4th Grade Teacher Dolvin Elementary [email protected] www.bullard5.weebly.com Follow me on Twitter @dolvinbullard

Dear Parents & Students! Here’s the agenda for this week: Topics this week: Reading AND Writing: We will begin GA Milestones Monday and do only one test each day. The first 3 days will be ELA and the 4th and 5th days will be math. **Testing Reminders: -No visitors are allowed in the building during testing. -All student devices should be powered off upon entering the building. No student devices will be used until AFTER testing is completed each day. -Students will be asked to remove watches, fitbits, apple watches etc. to prevent any noises and testing disruptions from occurring. -Students need to get rest the night before, eat a good breakfast in the morning, and take any needed medications each morning. With allergies in full force, we want students to be as comfortable as possible! -Students are suggested to wear comfortable clothes and bring a sweatshirt if needed. -Remind students to bring their glasses each day. There will be no assigned homework this week. We have been finishing up our “super hero” narrative essay which students have been typing them up on Google Classroom. We have also been writing a conclusion to another story I have given them to prepare for the Ga Milestones. Reminders:
That's all for now! Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns by emailing me directly at [email protected]. Watch the ABC Countdown each day! Students have enjoyed that! Have a wonderful week! Dave Bullard Dolvin Elementary School E-mail: [email protected] Website: http://bullard5.weebly.com Twitter: @dolvinbullard (look for pics here!!) |
